Playa Conchal is located in the Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica, which is known largely for its beautiful beaches. What’s notable about this one is that it’s comprised of millions of tiny crushed seashells that sparkle in the sunlight, and its crystal clear Pacific water rivals any you’ll find in the Caribbean.
Its coastal location provides opportunities for sport fishing, snorkeling, and swimming. Visitors can also hike or camp in the nearby national parks and nature reserves. For those who aren’t so outdoorsy, there’s also the luxurious Paradisus Playa Conchal Resort and Golf Course, which offers lodging as well as day passes for visitors.
While there isn’t much else in the way of consumer options in Playa Conchal, the town of Brasilito is within walking distance and offers a number of hotels, restaurants, and vars. Playa Flamingo is also only a short drive away.
Condos represent the bulk of the properties for sale in Playa Conchal. There are also plenty of single family homes, as well as a few listings of land for sale.
As you might expect, for property in such a gorgeous destination, the median home price for a single family home in Playa Conchal is almost $900k. Keep in mind, though, that this means that half of the properties listed are lower than that amount.
To get an idea of what you might pay for a home the size you’re looking for, just multiply the average price per bedroom by the number of bedrooms you’re hoping to have. Remember, though, that this price can still fluctuate a lot depending on whether you’re buying an updated place with an ocean view or a fixer-upper a little further inland.
